Sepa Veised OÜ operates in Elbu village Tori municipality Pärnu county. Sepa is an ancient Estonian farm, which was restored in 2015.
The first heifers of the limousin breed arrived from Germany in 2016 and the first bull came from Topi Mõis. In 2019 we also established another company – Limousin Breeding OÜ – and under this brand we present our best animals.
In beef cattle breeding, we have focused our work to limousin breeding and we also work with a small herd of aberdeen angus. We use both natural service and artificial insemination. There are 30 suckler cows in our herd and a total of 70 animals. We graze and collect winter feed from about 150 hectares. In 2021 we started switching over to organic farming.
We manage our farm with the whole family. The hostess Lisanna takes care of the animals on a daily basis. In addition to the farm work, the host Marko also runs the Linnamäe Meat Industry as manager and he is also a member of the board of the Estonian Beef Cattle Breeders Society.
It is important for us that the animals are friendly, calm in nature, have good maternal characteristics, grow quickly and are always well fed and cared for.
